[MANUFACTURING] Water jet cutting
To manufacture the different parts which compose our car, we use many processes. One of these processes is water jet cutting: A mixture of water and abrasive sand is pressurized to about 6000 bars. This mixture passes through a nozzle and exits at speeds of 3 to 4 times the speed of sound. We can then cut aluminum or steel plates for example, which can be up to 100mm thick.
